The Northern Alaska Environmental Center is bringing Alaska voices to New York Climate Week for a conversation about what it really takes to support strong, resilient communities across the state.
Working Across Systems for Alaska Communities will bring together people working across Tribal governments, nonprofits, advocacy organizations, community groups, and other institutions to talk about the partnerships, relationships, and shared work that make progress possible in Alaska. No single organization or system can address the challenges facing our communities alone. This panel will highlight how different groups bring their own expertise, relationships, and lived experience to the table—and why collaboration is essential.
Join us September 25 at 10:00 a.m. ET/6:00 a.m. AKST for this hybrid discussion, hosted at the Natural Resources Defense Council, 40 W. 20th St., 6th Floor, New York City.
