A new round of State of Alaska public notices includes several decisions and comment opportunities that could affect northern and Interior Alaska, the North Slope, Cook Inlet, fisheries, public lands, and future infrastructure.
Below are some of the notices we are tracking, what we’re watching, and how Alaskans can participate.

Why we track public notices
Public notices are often where decisions affecting Alaska’s lands, waters, wildlife, subsistence resources, and communities first become visible.
The process can be technical, deadlines can be short, and important notices are easy to miss.
The Northern Alaska Environmental Center will continue monitoring State and federal notices, helping Alaskans understand what is being proposed, and highlighting opportunities for meaningful public participation.
