23rd Run for the Refuge @ University of Alaska Fairbanks Ski Trails | College | Alaska | United States

Celebrate the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge at the 23rd Run for the Refuge trail race,  a 10k run and a 5k walk/run.  This year’s race will take place on Sunday, July 14th. Race day registration will open at 12:00 p.m. and the race begins at 1:00 p.m. the University of Alaska Fairbanks Ski Hut. Support the conservation of Alaska’s largest refuge by participating in this fun, family-friendly event!

The 5K is stroller friendly, and is an enjoyable walk for those who are not competitive runners. Entry fee for either race includes post-race snacks, t-shirt featuring custom art by Apayuq Moore for those who register in advance, and prizes for top finishers in each class (men, women, and children under 12). There will be door prizes and spectators are always welcome!

If you want to be part of the action on race day, but you’re not a runner or walker, we’ve got room for lots of volunteers too. Volunteers will get a run t-shirt.
