Bike To Work Week - Fairbanks

Burn Calories, Not Gas Bike to Work Week is a national event intended to incentivize biking as an alternative form of commute that burns calories rather than gas. The week's events, prizes and local support will generate enthusiasm that will ideally carry over into the participants every day routine throughout the summer. These changes in individual habit translate into cost savings, air pollution reduction and a happier, healthier community.

May 14-18, 2012 Mayors Luke Hopkins, Jerry Cleworth and Doug Isaacson have signed a proclamation declaring May 14-18 BIKE TO WORK WEEK in the Fairbanks North Star Borough!
