Camp Habitat
Since 1990, the Northern Alaska Environmental Center has been an active sponsor of Camp Habitat Summer Camps which are outdoor nature education and ecology camps for youth. In 2006 the Northern Alaska Environmental Center partnered with the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District to bring the summer camp experience indoors as an after school program as part of the 21st Century Community Learning Center after school programs.

Camp Habitat Summer Camps
Week-long nature education and ecology camps for youth ages 4 - 11 have been a part of the Fairbanks Community thanks to the Alaska Department of Fish & Game, Friends of Creamer's Field, and the Northern Alaska Environmental Center since 1990. Tex-Mex Dinner Fundraiser for Camp Habitat This SATURDAY!
Enjoy south-of-the-border cuisine, groovy Latin music, and the annual fall migration of the Sandhill Cranes from Alaska to Texas and parts of Mexico. Fresh Tex-Mex food is $10/plate. All proceeds support Camp Habitat.
