Local Energy Projects - Get Involved!

Interior Issues Council

Fairbanksans are working towards sustainable energy solutions through a number of think-tanks and events, and anyone can get involved.

Fairbanks Economic Development Corporation (FEDCO) has organized the following groups that tackle issues from climate change to affordable energy:

 

Alaska Center for Energy and Power (ACEP) based at the University of Alaska is dedicated to applied energy research and testing focused on lowering the cost of energy throughout Alaska. Check out their website for up-to-date energy information.

Attend the ACEP monthly Energy Lecture Series:

  • Noel Wein Public Library
  • 3rd Wednesday of each month
  • 6:30pm - 8:30pm
